Roshan Burnwal (born March 22, 2002) is an entrepreneur, founder and CEO of DROP Organization, a cyber security and digital business risk qualification company, based out of Ukhra, West Bengal.

Early Life

Roshan is born and raised in Ukhra, West Bengal. His father is a businessman. He attended school at Ukhra Adarsha Hindi High School. He has graduated on B.A. History Honours from Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University in the year 2023. When he was in school, he encountered with an incident which made him choose cyber security as a career. He belonged to lower middle-class family, where he used to reside in a rented house. Usually, when he was younger, there was no internet connection in his home, He used to visit his friend's house for surfing on Internet. When he used to go his friend's place, he met with an uncle who used to come to the same place. His uncle used to surf free internet and this made him curious to know the mystery behind such process. Once, he asked his about the technique that his uncle used, his friend then introduce the concept of hacking in his life. His friend gave him an overview about hacking incidents such as bank hack, phone hack, etc. This incident paved the way for taking up cyber security as a career where he realized that he could develop his skills in this field.

Achievements

Roshan belongs to the field of cyber security and ethical hacking. Apart from an IT expert, he is a successful entrepreneur, motivational speaker and an advance rock climber. He has a following base for more than two lakh people. He started his YouTube journey with his first YouTube channel "Techy Tricks" in 2017. Unfortunately, the channel got terminated due to YouTube regulations, where practical hacking was not allowed to be uploaded. He, then, started a new channel and by misfortune, this channel was also terminated by the YouTube community. By God's grace, after so many failures, he started with the fifth channel "DROP OrganizationDROP Organization" and currently running with  54k fan base.

Personal Life

Roshan is born and grown up in Ukhra, West Bengal. In the initial phase, he went through a lot of struggle in his livelihood. His father used to work as a daily passenger, with a family income of Rs 8,000-10,000 in a month. He used reside in a small rented house with his family. After 21 years of hardship, he structured his own house and gained a stable position. Currently, his father is running two businesses namely medicine and hardware. His mother is a successful housewife. He has a younger brother who is currently studying in school.

Career

Roshan founded DROP Organization, a cyber security company that provides courses on ethical hacking and cyber security to be aware about the digital world. DROP was initially started with the aim of doing social work and dedicate them for the benefit of the society. 

The first project was executed in the year 2019, by distributing free books and notebooks to more than 200 students in Neelkanth Mandir, Ukhra. Meanwhile, Roshan realized there should be a community for these activities, and initiated a company named DROP DROP (Development and Research Organization Planning), who will make constant developments in society through planning. 

The projects for social work was funded by him personally and through charity by his mates. Soon, after execution of numerous projects, he was in shortage of funds and could not continue with his vision.

He, then decided to work on digital services such as website designing, website development and many other services. With the phase of time, he could not continue with this strategy too. Finally, he decided to shift his strategy to the field of cyber security, as he was continuously acquiring knowledge in this field. He used to sell software used for various purposes in securing digital assets. This way, he became a tech giant in this digital era. 

Goals

 Roshan aims to take his company to greater heights, crossing a turnover of 5 Cr. and above. He wants to build a strong and competent team engaging potential employees who can give their best to the company. His ultimate vision is to create a sense of belief for his company DROP and prosper in various segments. In coming years, he aims to bring DROP, as a giant tech-provider company in the market. He promotes social work and aim to develop a self-working team for the same. He possess an expert knowledge in stock market and wants to grow in this field. Digital Marketing has taken an important place in current business models. He visualizes to create a robust mechanism for digital marketing by providing expert knowledge to learners. He want to expand his online training to offline mode at different marks such as Durgapur, Kolkata, Delhi and many more.

About Teams

DROP was initially set up for social work and the team at time was formed with 15 members including Sachin Barnwal, Sumit Sharma and Amit Burnwal (currently associated with DROP). As soon as, DROP shifted to web development and designing, the team members were reduced to 4 members only. 

After constant trials, Roshan successfully build a robust team with members Ajay Sharma, Amit Burnwal, Hari Ranjan Burnwal, Govind Thakur, Sachin Barnwal, Sumit Sharma, Susmita Haldar, and many more. He trained them to the best of his knowledge and able to take the first step for the company in 2022. The growth of efficient team members were steadily increasing with more than 35 members in 2024.
